This material is very rare.
This beautiful and unusual material originates in Afganistan and is almost never available. It measures 33mm X 22mm X 15mm. This will cut into one or more spectacular gems!
I'm selling my stock of facet rough that I have purchased over the last 35 years. This is all quality facet quality rough. It's always hard to find quality rough, so whenever I came across some, I would buy it piece by piece and put it away hoping to have time to start faceting again. I was a jeweler and gem gutter many years ago. Time to let these beautiful stones go to someone that has the time and talent to bring out the best in them. It's always a challenge to photograph gems. I tried to get accurate photos. I took the pictures on a white piece of paper and used my Nikon camera with the flash. The photos look accurate, but some maybe a little more vibrant due to the way the camera renders them. I always try to be honest in my descriptions.
